Flight
Dreaming of seeing the Colosseo or feeling like throwing some coins in the Trevi fountain? Then take a flight straight to Rome, Italy (FCO) from Montreal, Canada (YUL). To join us down south after exploring the eternal city, we suggest renting a car or taking a train.
Flight
Want to get to the airport closest to our wedding celebrations? Or you just want to live up your italian summer dream on the Amalfi coast? Then book your flights for Naples International aiport! Most flights from Montreal’s airport will have a stop or two, but you will be saving yourself a 3-hour drive from Rome! Your jet-lagged self will thank you later!
Flight
Unfortunately, Ryanair seems to have discontinued their direct flight to Naples! But there are still direct flights Naples from Dublin. As for flying from Cork, there is always the option of a stop in London to then catch a flight to Naples! Another Option would be Cork (ORK) to Milan (BGY), finishing in Naples (NAP).
Train
Whether you land in Naples or Rome, if you are not renting a car, the easiest way to reach Caserta is by train. Regional trains ("treno regionale") run multiple times a day between Napoli Centrale and Caserta and take around half hour. Between Rome and Caserta, you have 3 options: 1) Frecciargento > High speed train, which takes around 1 hour and 10 minutes. Prices start from around 30-45€ and vary based on time of the year, level of service and luck. 2) Regionale > Regional train that runs between various small stations. It can take between 2 and 4 hours depending on wether it's a direct train or you have to change. It's the cheapest option, but we recommend to always prefer direct routes (no changing of train) to have a simpler journey. Prices are around 15€. 3) Intercity > This kind of train runs rarely nowadays. It takes around 2 hours and a half and costs around 20€. Its best feature is the compartmented seating, ideal for travelling with friends.
