I have a question!

We will update this section periodically. Make sure to check back often!
Question

Ma non potevate fare il sito anche in italiano?

Answer

Eh, e sai che casino? Abbiamo pensato di farlo solo in inglese per praticità. Se hai delle domande specifiche, dubbi, commenti, scrivi a Luca.

Question

Est-ce que vous avez un site web en français svp?

Answer

Question

What about Covid-19?

Answer

As of February 2022, restrictions are still in place in Italy. Under the current guidelines, you will need to have received a full cycle of vaccine (at least two doses) to attend the celebration and the reception. You also need the full vaccine to stay at hotels, go to restaurant, take public transportation and pretty much do anything. While this might change in the future, be aware of the current restrictions if you plan to attend our wedding, to avoid any unfortunate situation. For Canadian residents, please check: https://travel.gc.ca/destinations/italy For Irish residents, please check: https://www.dfa.ie/travel/travel-advice/a-z-list-of-countries/italy/ For Italian residents, please check: https://www.dgc.gov.it/web/

Question

I have dietary restrictions, will there be food suitable for me?

Answer

The menu can accommodate for pescatarian, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and other options. Our venue will take extra care in case of allergies or intolerances. Please let us know via your RSPV if you have dietary restrictions.

Question

Is there transportation provided between the church, the reception venue and downtown Caserta?

Answer

A shuttle service will be in place to provide transportation from a collection point in Caserta downtown, to the church, to the venue and back to Caserta. Please let us know on your RSVP if you will need to avail of the shuttle so we can reserve a seat for you.

Question

Will the staff at the reception speak English/French?

Answer

First time we asked, we have been assured that they would speak both. Second time we asked (after paying the deposit), they confirmed English, but for French they said "Ermm...". So we expect them to speak Italian... maybe. Jokes apart, some of the staff should be able to speak your native tongue.

Question

What about gifts? Where are you registered?

Answer

We would be very happy if you contributed to fund our honeymoon! That’s the best gift, right after your presence itself at our celebration. But as an alternative in case you’d rather not, we included links to wedding registries in the “Gifting” section of the website.

Question

I am staying a bit longer than just for the wedding, I want to visit cool places. Where should I go?

Answer

Caserta itself offers nice tourist attractions such as the Royal Palace, the Belvedere of San Leucio and the Acquedotto Carolino. With a short train ride, you can easily reach Naples (for which we would recommend at least 1-2 full days), Salerno (great for a half day trip), Pompei and Ercolano. Rome is one hour away by high speed train, or around 3 hours by car/regular train. We included a dedicated section on the website, but feel free to roam the web!
