Travel Note

Friends coming from the USA, Europe, and beyond ... timing is everything!

Flights are generally overnight (red eye), so anticipate a little jetlag. You will need to arrive no later than the 10th ... so, that means probably leaving home on the 9th (for members of the bridal party also attending the rehearsal dinner, please see specific travel recommendations on the RSVP page for that event). We will coordinate group ground travel leaving Santiago Airport (based on your flight arrival time) that will bring you to either the Radisson Blu or Hotel Marbella (see reservation information below). Both hotels are full service and also have nearby restaurants. You could also rent a car at the airport (or hire a private car and driver or take an uber/taxi) and drive 1 hour to tour a winery in Casablanca. Enjoy lunch at a vineyard and then continue 45 minutes to the Raddison Blu in Concon or 90 minutes to Hotel Marbella in Puchuncaví, Maitencillo. On the day of the wedding, you can drive to Club El Tebo (about 45 minutes from either hotel) or take group transportation to and from the wedding. You can also stay in Horcon near Club El Tebo--see nearby cabanas and apartments below--however, restaurants and services are limited (but the cabanas do have kitchens). Please be sure to let us know your plans so we can help with and coordinate the arrangements, and feel free to ask us any questions.

Air Travel Information

Santiago (SCL) airport is served by all major airlines (Latam, Sky Airline, JetSmart, Aerolineas Argentinas, Iberia, American Airlines, Avianca, Air Labrador, Air Canada, Copa Airlines, Delta, United Airlines, Air France, and many others). Club El Tebo is approximately 2 hours from the Santiago airport (SCL) and 2.5 hours from the city (traffic can be heavy, so please add at least an additional 30 minutes). Rental cars are available at the airport, as are Ubers, taxis, and transfer shuttles. We will, however, coordinate group transportation whenever possible and practical.

Radisson Blu Acqua Hotel & Spa Concón

UPSCALE HOTEL OPTION: 45 minutes to the South from Club El Tebo, this is a beautiful oceanfront hotel in our hometown of Concon. The hotel literally shares a wall with a historic home that happens to be owned by Rulo's family (for generations)! Rates are approximately $250 USD per night. CLOSEST OPTION, CABANA STYLE: 5 minutes from Club El Tebo (we will get you to and from the wedding), this seems a little rough around the edges but it is truly a hidden gem: a "villa" with stunning views that will make you feel like you are on a Greek island or the southern Italian coast...definitely a unique experience! You can book through any booking site like this one, but we have also met with the owner and can assist with booking directly, and then they will also include breakfast. Rates are approximately $140 USD per night (up to two people, $70 for each additional person).

Cabañas, Camping Y Spa - Altos De Tebo

CLOSEST OPTION, CABANA STYLE: 5 minutes from Club El Tebo, this is basic but clean and comfortable with ensuite bathrooms and a simple self-service cafe. You can book through any booking site like this one, but we have also met with the owner and can assist with booking directly, and then breakfast will also be included. Rates are approximately $70 USD per night (up to two people, and $35 for each additional person).

Bahia Pelicanos

CLOSE OPTION, APARTMENT STYLE: 15 minutes from Club El Tebo, these are nice and fully appointed apartments available for rent (see airbnb link below). Rates vary but range from $50-$100 USD per night. We have reservations already, so we can put your names on those reservations.
