What Do I Wear to the Anand Karaj?

Answer

We encourage you to wear whatever makes you most comfortable. Please note that during the Anand Karaj ceremony, guests are asked to remove their shoes and will traditionally sit on the floor cross-legged. A few chairs will be available for those who may need them. Guests are asked to keep their heads covered for the duration of the ceremony. You are welcome to bring your own scarf or head covering, or one will be provided for you. For those interested in wearing traditional Punjabi attire (such as lehengas, salwar kameez, and kurta sets), you may find options at local boutiques or online retailers.
