Getting dressed for a wedding can feel stressful, expensive, pressured, and confusing. We don't want you to feel those things at our reception. Please where what makes you feel good. Be mindful that the wedding is outside and the area surrounding the reception has uneven ground, dirt trails, and grass.
Yes! There are several camp sites at Oxbow Regional Park. No animals are aloud, and we recommend booking early if this is where you want to stay!
Your presence at this event is gift enough. If you feel compelled to give more you can visit our registry page and donate to our honeymoon fund or share your favorite recipe with us.
Yes! Our reception site has a lot of fun things for kids, and we'll have some lawn games and crafts for them to do.
Oxbow Regional Park is about 30-45 minutes from Portland. It's an easy drive, but please note that there is not good cell phone reception once you get close to the park, so please don't plan on calling an uber. Let us know if you need some help arranging a ride, we can connect you to someone who is driving!
Reception is spotty at best once you get into Oxbow!
There is a small kiosk at the entrance of the park and there is a $5 fee per vehicle. Please pay then proceed to the Dragonfly Picnic Shelter. There are maps at the kiosk as you drive in! If you are able, please park at the top of the hill right before you turn into the picnic area and then walk down to the shelter. There is limited parking at the bottom of the hill.
