Optional! So many of our excellent friends and family will be in town early and we wanted even more opportunities to see you. We'll be prepping for the wedding on Thursday and will need to eat -- if you would like to have dinner and a beer outside at one of Portland's famous food cart pods, we'll see you there! It's no host and there's lots of food options. Family friendly.

We'd love for you to join us for a short ceremony and casual outdoor reception at the Dragon Fly Picnic Area in Oxbow Regional Park. Please arrive at 2:00pm for a cocktail hour before our ceremony which begins promptly at 3:00pm. We'll have a spread of snacks, a casual dinner & dessert, beer & wine, lawn games, and music to enjoy in this special place. The Dragon Fly Picnic Area is a sweet, private part of the park that sits right above the river. There is parking right next to the event or at the top of a small, gravel hill. There is a pit-style bathroom right next to the picnic area, and nicer flush toilets at the top of the hill. We will have a covered pavilion with wooden picnic tables, and a few additional tables, chairs, and blankets in the grass for seating. Plan to wear something you can comfortably move around in, and shoes appropriate for grass and uneven ground! There is a $5 parking fee per vehicle so please bring cash!

Casual!
We are going out dancing and everyone (over 21) is invited! We opted to have a casual outdoor reception on Saturday afternoon that won't include traditional dancing or a DJ, but we didn't want to miss out on dancing with our friends and family. If you're staying in the city and have some energy left, come join us! ---This is not a hosted or private event. Come if you want for as long as you want! ---

If you're still in town or have time before leaving, stop by any time between 10:30am and 1:00pm to check out our new (to us) house, get a tour of our budding "urban farm," and grab breakfast and coffee!
