Scenic train ride through the San Juan Mountain range.

Durango Train Depot

Durango is right in the middle of the San Juan Mountains. Look on All Trails for hikes in the area to see the beautiful views. Just be aware of the altitude difference from MI.

Hiking

This town is 2 hours from Durango but another beautiful place to see if you are here for some time. To get to Telluride from Durango you have to drive on the Million dollar highway which is such a beautiful sight in itself.
