What to expect day of
Answer
Our ceremony site is at the top of a mountain that you have to ride a chair lift up to access. There is a waiver you must fill out at the base of the mountain prior to boarding the lift. The chair lift takes approximately 15 minutes to get to the top with a 3-5 min walk to the ceremony site so please arrive with enough time to accommodate (and trust us you will want time for pictures of your own). You do not have to pay for this lift. If you have concerns related to the chair lift or need accommodations please let us know asap. See this youtube video that shows our venue. Our ceremony site is Paradise and Purgys is our reception venue. https://youtu.be/JziLN7a-jik The chair lift closes at 5pm so everyone needs to be down the lift by this time. The chair lift lets off at our Reception site, Purgys. Where you can get a drink and app.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Our Ceremony starts around 4pm. Please see above as it does take extra time to get to the ceremony site. We recommend arriving to the base of the lift around 3:30-3:45pm at the latest because only 6 people can go up the lift at a time and you do have to sign waivers.

Food & Beverage

Please RSVP with your food selection and let us know if you have any dietary restrictions. Purgatory is weekends only in September especially because the main mountain biking is closed for renovations. Below is food options at the resort and hours. There is a small grocery store down the road and some other small restaurants. We recommend if you are flying into Montrose or Durango and plan to make your own meals to stop at a grocery store prior to arriving to the resort. Village Market Deli is scheduled to be open everyday 8am-2pm. Friday - Sunday Paradise Pizza and the Bear Bar will be open normal hours.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Cocktail attire. Please be aware our ceremony site is at the top of the mountain and you have to to ride up a chair lift to get to the top. This may be windy/cold, especially if it is a cloudy day.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Unfortunately our ceremony site is not kid friendly. While we love your little ones we request that if you bring your kids with you to Colorado, you have someone to watch your kiddos during our ceremony/reception. Please Do Not bring your kids down during the reception as we could get fined.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
We have included plus one on the invite. If you did not receive one, please reach out and we can consider on a case by case situation as we are limited on number of guests.
