Question

What is "garden formal attire"?

Answer

Rowan & Pedro and the wedding party will be wearing traditional wedding attire. You all should wear clothes that YOU feel good eating, drinking, and dancing in. We'll probably all get medium sweaty. Guys: light-colored suits or slacks and a sport jacket are fine. Gals: dresses, jumpsuits, suits, whatever. Given that we will be moving between outdoor and indoor spaces, we suggest against heels that would sink into the grass or be difficult to walk in, and please consider the temperature and bring a light jacket if necessary! Make it festive and fun! Light fabrics, colors, floral, fun hats and fascinators. Basically: Wear whatever makes you feel beautiful!

Question

I'm hesitant to stay at camp...like...in a cabin.

Answer

We hear you! In selecting a facility, the comfort of our guests was at the very top of our mind. Camp Kinder Ring used to be one-half resort for adults -- think Marvelous Mrs. Maisel's Steiner Mountain Resort -- so accommodations are actually private rooms in a motel or lakeside cabins. Each room has a single and a double bed, heat & A/C, an ensuite bathroom, and a television. Click the “travel” tab above for booking info and more details.

Question

Okay, I'm in. What should I bring?

Answer

Really, whatever you'd bring to any other weekend wedding PLUS: - Comfy clothes for hanging out in - Extra warmth, such as a sweatshirt or wool sweater - Perhaps a small flashlight, bug spray, and sunscreen - Extra shoes (preferably sneakers or something similar!) You may also wish to bring sunglasses or a hat, as the ceremony will be outdoors.

Question

Do I need to bring my own sheets and towels?

Answer

Nope, they will be provided for you!

Question

Will I have wifi or cell service while at Camp Kinder Ring?

Answer

There is full cell service at the camp, however we hope you'll disconnect with us for the weekend!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking for the whole weekend, kid! Put your keys away until Sunday.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Only if your wedding invitation included "and guest" and you RSVP'd to include a guest. If this is not the case, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

What about dogs?

Answer

Unfortunately the camp does not allow dogs. We hope you'll be able to make arrangements to have your sweet doggos hang out with family or friends this weekend and embrace the camp experience!

Question

Are there Covid protocols?

Answer

UPDATE: Camp Kinder Ring has just lifted their vaccine requirements so they will no longer be checking for proof of vaccination or requiring rapid tests upon arrival. That being said, we strongly encourage you to take a rapid test before the weekend, and if you are feeling under-the-weather, STAY HOME! If you are feeling ill at any point throughout the weekend, let us know; we will have plenty of rapid tests on-site.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We are registered right here on Zola. You can find our registry by clicking on the "Registry" tab above.
