The closest airport to Pigeon River Mountain Retreat is Asheville Regional Airport (AVL), located about 38 miles away. For guests traveling from Orlando, Sanford Airport (SFB) offers direct flights into Asheville. If you plan to fly, we suggest renting a car (or pairing with a group who is), as onsite cabins have parking, and rideshare options are very limited in the area. While cabins and wedding events are all located on the retreat property, they are not ALL walkable from each other (distances between cabins and venues range from 0.1 miles to 2 miles) , so keep that in mind when deciding whether to drive or rent a car. We’ll provide a shuttle on property for all wedding events and have rented ATV's to assist with transport on property but guests staying offsite will need to arrange their own transportation to and from the retreat.
