Can I stay at Pigeon River Mountain Retreat?
Answer
We're excited to share this beautiful mountain retreat with you! Due to limited on-site accommodations, not all of our guests will be staying on the property. If you haven't received information about on-site lodging, please know that while we can't accommodate everyone overnight, you're absolutely welcome to visit and celebrate with us throughout the weekend.

Where should I stay if I'm not staying on the property?
Answer
There are several wonderful lodging options in the area. We recommend booking early as rentals fill up quickly on a holiday weekend. Some nearby options include: Local bed & breakfasts Mountain cabins and vacation rentals Hotels in nearby towns Please check out the "travel" page for more information.

Can I visit the property even if I'm not staying there?
Answer
Absolutely! We'd love to have you join us for meals, activities, and quality time throughout the weekend, regardless of where you're staying overnight.

What activities are planned for the weekend?
Answer
We would love for you to join us on Friday for a welcome party, Saturday for our ceremony and reception, and Sunday for a post-wedding day party on the river! Meals will be provided for these 3 events.

Can I bring a plus-one?
Answer
Plus-ones are specified on your invitation. Due to limitations, we request that you adhere to your specific invitation. If you have questions about your invitation, please reach out to us directly.

What amenities are available at the retreat?
Answer
The retreat offers hiking trails, Pigeon River, tennis and basketball courts, sauna, playgrounds and so much more! Feel free to explore as much as you would like!

What should I pack?
Answer
In addition to your wedding attire, be sure to pack comfy clothes, layers in case of a chill at night, and comfortable shoes (the terrain at the retreat is gravel) If you plan to wear heels for the wedding day, be sure to also have a pair of flats with you. If you are staying on property, you are welcome to bring any outside snacks, drinks, etc that you would like to stock your cabin with.

Do I need a car?
Answer
If you’re staying off-property, we recommend having your own transportation or arranging rides. We’ll have a shuttle during all on-site wedding events, but it won’t service off-site lodging and it will not run 24/7.

When should I plan to arrive and depart?
Answer
We’ll be gathering from Friday afternoon through Monday morning, with a few optional events throughout the weekend. We recommend arriving Friday and departing Monday if you can join for the full weekend!

Is there cell service and/or WiFi at the retreat?
Answer
Yes! Pigeon River Mountain Retreat is equipped with Starlink and free WiFi.

How do I know what events I'm invited to?
Answer
All guests are invited to the welcome party Friday night, the wedding Saturday, and the river day Sunday!
