Please call and mention the Fosher-Sinks Wedding when booking to receive the discounted rate. We recommend booking early, as availability may be limited.

For those looking to make a weekend getaway out of the celebration, The Elms Hotel & Spa in Excelsior Springs is a beautiful option, located about 25 minutes from The Ridge Wedding & Event Venue. While we haven't reserved a room block here, guests are welcome to book independently. The Elms offers a full-service spa, indoor pool, and a charming downtown area—perfect for a relaxing stay.

Local Rentals
While there are not many traditional hotel options nearby, we encourage guests to explore Airbnb or Vrbo for local rentals. There are a number of charming homes and country stays in and around Richmond that may be perfect for your visit. Whether you choose a hotel or a rental, we recommend booking early, as options in the area are limited and may fill quickly. Transportation
The Ridge Wedding & Event Venue is located in Richmond, MO—about an hour outside of Kansas City. Due to the rural setting, rideshare options like Uber and Lyft are limited and may not be reliable, especially in the evening. To ensure smooth travel, we recommend coordinating carpools with other guests when possible, driving your own vehicle, or renting one if you're visiting from out of town. Staying nearby can also make things easier—the Super 8 in Richmond is just a 6-minute drive from the venue. There is plenty of on-site parking available for all guests. Overnight parking is allowed, but all vehicles must be picked up by 10:00 AM on Sunday morning.
