Rosetta and Shane first found each other through a shared love of the Boston Bruins, the same taste in music, and a playful, witty sense of humor, as displayed in their first conversations via Twitter (yes, really!). After communicating only through social media for a few weeks, they decided to meet up in person on a perfectly warm, early-summer Boston evening at a sports bar across the street from TD Garden. Despite the nerves between them, the ease of conversation translated seamlessly face-to-face. After the following weekend -- when, coincidentally, Rosetta attended her cousin's wedding at which she caught the bouquet -- the next date occurred as soon as possible at a show headlined by one of their all-time favorite bands, and the night ended with their first kiss. Countless memories together have followed: singing along at more shows to more of their favorite bands, spontaneously attending Bruins games after work, sharing new adventures among their travels at any opportunity, sipping on craft beers and laughing all the while with good friends and loving family, testing new recipes in their Brighton apartment kitchen, and daily cuddles with their best feline friend, Norman. Now, Rosetta and Shane look forward to honoring their love story and eternity together by gathering with all of you to celebrate on what they know will be their most memorable day yet: their wedding day!

Having wanted for years to take Shane to the pet-friendly motel owned by her Aunt April and Uncle Rick in Lake George, NY -- a vacation destination with many happy memories for Rosetta's family -- the couple planned for a safe, sweet getaway for a few days in the midst of a difficult year. While staying in an adorable cottage in the postcard early-autumn serenity of the Adirondacks, enjoying rewarding hikes overlooking the expansive lake, and taking in the chill of the air by the water in the evenings, Rosetta had no inkling of what Shane had hidden in his crisp denim jacket and what he had planned with Rosetta's family ahead of time. With Aunt April joining the couple "to take some photos", Rosetta and Shane visited The Sagamore Resort, a famed landmark hotel that offers elegant grounds for a romantic stroll. Despite being informed that the resort was only welcoming hotel guests that evening, Shane was determined to carry out his special plan and snuck the trio to a dock with views of nothing but the calm water and the mountains in the setting sun. April took her place to ensure she got the perfect shot, and Shane grabbed Rosetta's hands. She could feel that he was shaking and then knew exactly what was happening! After telling her how much he loves her and the world they've built for each other, Shane got down on one knee to ask Rosetta to share the rest of forever with him. She, of course, said, "Yes!" and Shane carefully slipped the marquise ring on her finger to the applause of the small crowd of nearby onlookers. Oh, and Aunt April captured wonderful photos of it all, too!

Rosetta and Shane are honored to be able to welcome their dearest friends and family to Gloucester, Massachusetts as they host the celebration of their marriage at Hammond Castle Museum. The couple first visited the Museum in 2017, and a vision of their future wedding there has perpetuated since that day.
