Venue
The wedding will be held at the Lakota Waldorf School. The school is a nonprofit institution grounded in Rudolf Steiner philosophy and is dedicated to revitalizing the Lakota language and culture. Its curriculum is thoughtfully built around Lakota traditions, values, and language, creating a learning environment that honors and strengthens the community’s identity.
Mike and Rosie have had the privilege of working there both in person and remotely. They witnessed the building’s growth over time and were grateful to be part of that journey. It means so much to us to celebrate our wedding in a place that reflects our values and holds deep personal and community significance.
The ceremony will take place outdoors. Dinner will be set up in the main sunroom (see photo below), with the buffet arranged in the adjoining room to the left. We will also have outdoor games and a tent set up for guests to enjoy throughout the evening.
