We recommend the cinnamon sugar donuts near Market Spice, seeing the renowned Gum Wall, and watching the fish throwing near the gold pig statue.
Don't miss the Chihuly Glass Museum on your trip to Seattle Center!
When Michael and Rose lived in Fremont together for a few months, they went on many runs to Gas Works. It has a beautiful view of the Seattle city skyline. We recommend bringing a picnic basket and blanket to sit on while you enjoy the view.
This is a really fun way to enjoy Lake Union on a perfect Seattle summer day!
Umi is a fun place to share sushi rolls, and it has a great happy hour.
Shiro's has incredibly fresh fish. It is Omakase style with a set course menu.
A great place for breakfast and brunch.
We recommend going here for brunch before walking (read: hiking) or driving up the hill to Kerry Park for a great view of downtown Seattle.
Capitol Hill, also known as "Cap Hill," is a popular neighborhood with many great restaurants and bars. For food, we recommend Ba Bar, Tavolàta, and Poquitos. Rhein Haus is a fun German biergarten with bocce ball courts.
Arguably the best ice cream in the city. Michael and Rose went here on their first date! Redhook Brewlab is right next door. Rose recommends the rosé dry cider. Michael recommends skipping the beer and getting more ice cream at Salt & Straw.
A PNW-style sandy beach and a great place for little ones to dip their toes in the Puget Sound.
We are *pleased* to announce that Vashon Island planned the Strawberry Festival for the same weekend as our wedding. While this does provide a great activity to enjoy throughout the weekend, it also means more traffic and longer ferry lines. Woohoo!
