Taxis

San Miguel is a pedestrian city with very cheap and safe taxi service, so you will not need a rental car (we advise against it). If you take a taxi within San Miguel, make sure you use a green or white taxi (these are official). Also, make sure you ask the taxi driver what the rate will be to your destination before you get into the taxi. A ride within the city should cost around 30 pesos or 40 pesos at night. If you get quoted higher just ask if they will take less.
