Shuttle for Wedding

We have a shuttle that will transport guests from the most popular local hotels to/from the wedding. - 4:45 PM Pick Up: Chatham Tides * Cannot pull up to hotel, pick up is at the corner of Pleasant St + Wadsworth Rd * Departs at 4:50 PM - 5:05 PM Pick Up: Hawthorne Inn * Departs at 5:10 PM  - 5:20 PM Pick Up: Pleasant Bay Village Resort * Cannot pull into parking lot, pick up is at back/side entrance on Training Field * Departs at 5:30 PM - 5:45 PM Drop off at Wequassett Resort *Return trips will be 11:30PM and 12:30AM.*

Parking and Ride Share

There is ample parking available at Wequassett for those who would like to drive. There are also Ubers/Lyfts available, but expect long wait times in the summer. Just make sure you leave plenty of time to check the app and reserve your ride ahead of the ceremony. To play it safe, you're welcome to arrive at Wequassett as early as you'd like prior to the ceremony. There is an indoor tavern called Thoreau's or an outdoor bar called LiBAYtion where you can grab a drink. There are also outdoor spots to sit and enjoy the view of Pleasant Bay.

Cape Cod Gateway Airport Hyannis

Cape Cod Gateway Airpot is a small airport located in Hyannis on the Cape. It is approximately 30 minutes (18mi) from this airport to the Wequassett. The most commonly used airline for direct flights are JetBlue and Cape Air.

Boston Logan Airport

The Wequassett is approximately 90 miles from Logan airport in Boston, Massachusetts. Logan Airport is the main and largest airport to travel to if flying. There are shuttle and bus services that travel to Cape Cod from the airport as well as car rental options. It is about a 1.5-hour drive to the Cape from Boston (without traffic).

*5 stars* This is the location of the wedding! There is a 3 night minimum stay. Rooms are luxurious and the views are spectacular. Mention the Root-Jureller wedding at time of booking please.

*4 stars* 10 minute drive to Wequassett. This is our top choice hotel! The rooms are updated and there is private beach access. Please note, you should CALL to book rather than use the online platform. When calling, mention the Root-Jureller wedding and ask for a 10% discount (also the AAA discount). There are a wide variety of room options including kings, queens, townhouses, and suites. Rates vary based on the type of room you are interested in. There is a 2-night minimum stay.

*3.5 stars* 10 minute drive to Wequassett. This is our other top choice hotel! The rooms are updated and there is private beach access. Most rooms are king beds, with no more than 3 guests per room. We have set aside a few rooms that are first-come/first-serve, and at a discounted rate. Please call to book and mention the Root-Jureller wedding. There is a 3-night minimum stay.

Pleasant Bay Village Resort

*3 stars* 3 minute drive to Wequassett. This is a great modestly priced option, and extremely close to the Wequassett! There is a 2 to 3 night minimum stay, depending on availability. Booking will open January 2024, however, if you call and mention the Root-Jureller wedding the front desk may be able to assist earlier.

*4.5 stars* 15 minute drive to Wequassett. A great option for large friend groups and families! This beautiful oceanfront resort offers many room options including condos that can be easily shared by a group. There is a 3-night minimum stay. This will likely not be a shuttle stop.

*3 stars* 10 minute drive to Wequassett. A great modestly priced option with updated rooms and a quaint private courtyard. 2-night minimum stay. Depending on interest, we may add this to the shuttle route.

*4.5 stars* 8 minute drive to Wequassett. A beautiful, traditional bed and breakfast that has a wide variety of room options and an authentic Cape Cod experience. Close proximity to downtown Chatham as well as the Wequassett. 2-3 night minimum stay. (Adults only).

*3 stars* 11 minute drive to Wequassett. Another great modestly priced option with updated rooms and a pool. May be added to shuttle route depending on interest.
