The ceremony will start promptly at 6:00pm, therefore please arrive by 5:45pm. You are also welcome to arrive earlier and grab a drink at LiBAYtion or Thoreau's. We encourage guests to walk the grounds of the resort, down by the water, and enjoy the stunning views!
The wedding ceremony will be outdoors on the grand lawn of the Wequassett, weather pending. Make sure to wear appropriate footwear, avoiding stilettos on the grass. The cocktail hour is half tented and half outside on the patio. The reception is fully indoors. If we encounter inclement weather, the wedding will be fully inside.
Yes! We encourage visiting the Wequassett's restaurants and bars, as well as renting boats at Down Cape Boat Rentals. Take a look around the resort, grab a drink at the outdoor bar LiBAYtion or inside at Thoreau's! Coffee and pastries can be purchased at The Sill. The beach and pool areas are for guests only, just be mindful and courteous when visiting.
It would be best to book where you're staying as soon as you know that you are able to come. Places book up fast on the Cape, especially in the summer. Most hotels, bed and breakfasts', airbnb's are available to book a year in advance.
We love kids! But we aren't having children at the wedding. They are welcome at any other events during the weekend including the rehearsal dinner and welcome party. If you need child care and are staying at the Wequasett Resort, you can call 508-432-5400. Another option is to arrange for a babysitter, the Wequassett Resort recommends Care for Kids careforkidsinc.com
It takes roughly 4.5 hours to drive from Midtown Manhattan, NYC to Harwich, MA without traffic. However, on summer weekends it can take 6 or more hours due to traffic. We recommend allowing ample time for traveling.
Please note this on your RSVP for dietary restrictions or allergies. We plan to accommodate on an individual basis with a gluten free or plant-based option. (Yes that includes you, Harrison Philipps!)
