Things To Do

We're so excited to share a few of our favorite places in the area for you to add to your adventures while visiting Oregon!
Crater Lake National Park

Crater Lake National Park

Crater Lake National Park, Rim Village, OR 97604
, (541) 594-3000

This was our first trip together upon moving to Oregon and quickly became a favorite spot! It soon became the spot where Ron asked Cassie to spend the rest of her life with him. Visiting in May and June: While flowers are blooming at lower elevations, there is still a lot of snow in the park. Planning ahead can ensure an enjoyable visit. Crater Lake got a significant amount of snow in the 2023-2024 Winter season that remained through June. While driving up should be clear, it is highly recommended you call the National Park Ranger Number (listed above) for information regarding entrances, gift shop, and other travel info.

Alpacas at Lone Ranch

Alpacas at Lone Ranch

13856 Weowna Way, White City, OR 97503
, (541)-821-8071

Does this one even need an explanation? It's Alpacas!!! This Alpaca ranch is run by a sweet older couple who conducts tours free of charge, by appointment. All they ask if for donations or for you to take a look around their gift shop which includes items made from Alpaca fur, fun goodies for kids, homemade Jam (super yummy), and more! On this tour you can walk around the ranch while the owners provide information on the Alpacas, in which you may also be able to pet then and take pictures (when they feel it is appropriate), and maybe even get some Alpaca kisses (No, we're not kidding)! They just ask that you call ahead for a reservation, as they do not take walk-ins.
