Think Midsummer celebration—flowing dresses, linen, florals, earth tones, soft colors, or dressy casual attire. The ceremony will be held outdoors on grass, so we recommend comfortable footwear.
Yes! We are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options will already be available at the feast. Please let us know in advance if you need anything else so we can make arrangements with Skål.
Yes! We'll have an open bar throughout the reception featuring craft beer, wine, mead, and other beverages.
Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for. We do not have a traditional wedding registry.

The ceremony begins promptly at 6:30 PM. Guests should arrive at Ballard Commons Parking Garage between 5:45 PM and 6:00 PM to board the shuttle. Boarding Location: NW 56th Street & 22nd Ave NW The shuttle will depart promptly at 6:00 PM for Golden Gardens. An event coordinator will be there to assist guests. Because parking at Golden Gardens is limited, we encourage guests to use the shuttle whenever possible.

Yes. Parking is available at Ballard Commons Parking Garage, just a short walk from Skål Beer Hall. Parking is expected to cost approximately $15. Guests are encouraged to leave their vehicles there for the evening and use the complimentary shuttle to and from the ceremony.
Rain or shine, we'll celebrate together! If rain is in the forecast, we recommend bringing an umbrella. The ceremony will proceed outdoors unless severe weather makes it unsafe.
We kindly ask that guests enjoy an unplugged ceremony and refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony. Our professional photographers will capture the day so everyone can be fully present in the moment.
Yes. Public restrooms are available near the ceremony site at the Golden Gardens bathhouse. We recommend using the facilities before the ceremony begins. An event coordinator will be in attendance to point the way.
