We invite you to join us in celebrating our commitment to one another with a Scandinavian handfasting ceremony and Scandinavian feast among the people we love most. This will not be a traditional wedding. Instead, we are creating something that reflects who we are—an evening that begins outdoors with a Scandinavian handfasting ceremony and continues with a shared feast, conversation, and celebration. Our ceremony is centered on the importance of community. Through meaningful rituals inspired by our shared Norwegian heritage, we will honor not only our commitment to one another, but also the relationships and people who have shaped our lives. Our hope is to gather everyone not simply as witnesses, but as participants—to share in a moment that is heartfelt, joyful, and just a little bit magical. We know that joining us may require some travel and intention, and that means a great deal to us. If you are able to celebrate with us, we would be truly honored to have you there.
