What can be said? Jeff was the best dad a girl could ever hope for and was central to Drew's world in every way. He rejoined the spirit realm in 2019 but is always with us, and we know he will be especially close by on the big day. Jeff was known for the twinkle in his eye, the spring in his step, and the song in his heart. His love, support, genuine caring for all, and fun-loving nature are greatly missed.

Chris DeNier

Mother of the Groom

Throughout Eric's entire life, Chris has been a present, nurturing and supportive mother. Allowing Eric to learn many of his own lessons while giving him abundant love and guidance in the difficult moments, she continues to provide a bond that is unique to mother and first born son. Chris has encouraged Eric to find his own happiness and sing his song no matter what that may be. There is no end to the love that these two have for each other and how special their connection truly is.

Paul Dunn

Father of the Groom

Throughout Eric's entire life Paul has been there to encourage, enrich, and guide him on his journey of self reliance and discovery. Music, Study, Athletics and Art were the foundation of Paul's parenting while providing the freedom for Eric to find his own path to walk. Paul also knew the value of cooking fantastic dishes with superior ingredients, laying the foundation for Eric's love of the kitchen and grill. Paul is a great father to an even more grateful son. -

When Drew was born, she was fortunate to instantly have a best friend for life in her older brother. He is simply one of the best humans ever! Kyle and Drew joke about being "super twins"; as close as twins but miraculously born two years apart. Kyle's guidance and companionship have helped shape Drew in countless ways...mostly for the better. ; )

Peter is Eric's younger brother by two years and knows him better than just about anybody. They became incredibly close after Eric went to college and have shared some powerful experiences in their adult lives. From climbing mountains to lending a hand or advice whenever Eric needs help, Pete is a true friend and wonderful brother.

Kristi Beck

Kristi and Drew have been friends for approximately...forever. They met before grade school and grew up together in the tiny town of Granby, CO. Nothing can break the lifelong bonds they forged during those formative years. Kristi brings a unique blend of sweetness and sassiness to every room she enters and has injected fun (and a dash of trouble) into Drew's life like no other. Her big heart always has room for more, especially animals (at last count 4 dogs, 4 cats, 4 fish tanks, 4 snakes, a flock of chickens, and a ridiculously cute duck.)

Katya moved to Durango from Bend, OR in 2018, met Drew soon after, and seamlessly became an integral part of the Rozean family. They've supported, inspired, and mentored Drew in countless ways over the last 7 years. And they will certainly continue to do so with their passionate advocacy for justice, steadfast dedication to a more sustainable way of life, and impressive ability to find joy and humor along the way. -

Eric met Jake on the golf course years ago and they became fast friends. Jake has been the big brother Eric never had. He owns a custom home building company in Durango and among many things has taught Eric how to be a builder. The skills he's passed on have helped Eric immensely and given him confidence every day. Jake is generous, kind, intelligent, strong, talented, and can tackle any adventure. A father of a beautiful young girl and a devoted husband, Jake will always be family to Eric and Drew.

From the first time Eric met Lara he knew there was something very special about her. Mother of four and a 4th generation La Plata County local, Lara taught Eric that he is allowed to have fun. She is wise, understanding, and the strongest woman Eric has ever known. She and Eric have shared some of the best memories of his life. Lara never stops teaching him about the magic this world holds if you approach life with an open heart and a playful spirit. -

Kate Marcille

Kate and Drew became fast friends as undergrads at the University of Montana, and their bond has been unshakeable ever since. She's the highlight of every visit to Missoula, a brilliant and beautiful force of nature, and has been encouraging Drew every step of the way for almost 20 years now. Kate and her husband Kevin also showed Drew and Eric just how joyful and fun a wedding could be when they got hitched in 2022. -

Lisa and Eric met while he was attending college. They had an instant connection and became friends immediately. They have been close ever since and shared wonderful memories for over 20 years. Eric always looks to Lisa for inspiration. She is compassionate, highly intelligent, and has a wonderful sense of humor. Lisa is also a golf fanatic, chef, first rate lawyer, and lover of kitties. Lisa and Eric have long known they will be sitting on a porch in rocking chairs when they are old, talking about all the good times.

When Kyle reunited with his high school sweetheart Nicole in 2022, Drew was blessed to reconnect with her beautiful sister and to gain an awesome bonus nephew with Nicole's brilliant boy Sam! The Rozean family got bigger, better, and brighter thanks to her.

Drew and Eric are deeply grateful to know their dear friend Marcy, who also happens to have officiated a few weddings in her day! She is a wise and joyful presence in their lives, and the perfect person to help craft a heartfelt ceremony for the happy couple.
