When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Wedding RSVP: Use the "RSVP" tab by April 1st, 2024. If RSVPing from your phone after entering your first name scroll down to select your name. Room Reservation: You can RSVP anytime on the "Travel" tab! A $500 deposit is required at the time you reserve a room. All Rooms reservations and final room payment is due July 1st 2024. Feel free to RSVP earlier and make payments at no additional cost! Contact our travel agent Danielle for all room booking details. The room block is from Saturday November 30th - Tuesday December 3rd, however you you would like to arrive earlier or depart later just request with Danielle.

Is this an all inclusive resort?

Answer

Yes! All food, drinks and most activities are included in your stay. If you're foodies like us you will love the ten different restaurants located inside the resort. From seafood, sushi, hibachi, Italian, Mexican, French, Brazilian steakhouse, to an all you can eat buffet. Some restaurants have a more strict dress codes than others. We advise all male guests to bring slacks and female guests to bring a dress. Please see each restaurants dress code policy. As a guest a Dreams you will also have access to Secrets next door that is an adults only resort. You can enjoy their pools, restaurants, activities and entertainment!

Passports?

Answer

Please be advised that enhanced ID.s and passport cards will NOT work for air travel to Mexico, only an actual passport book will get you to Cancun by plane. Getting a passport can take anywhere from 8 to 11 weeks. We advise applying for one before anything else.

What about the kids?

Answer

We love your kids and intentionally picked this resort so that they can attend and have just as much of an memorable time as the adults. If you are feeling like getting away and attending without kids then that's perfectly fine too. The resort also offers free daycare from 9am to 10pm everyday at the explorers club for kids if you're looking to break away for a while. Fair warning that the drinking age in Mexico is 18, we will let you figure that one out. If you will be traveling without kids, we have heard from other bride and grooms that this resort has enough space where you can still relax without children's laughter in ear shot. All guests have access to the adults only Secrets resort next door where you can enjoy the pools, restaurants and entertainment.

What is the average trip cost?

Answer

A 3 night stay will range from $1200-$1500 per adult. This should cover room, flight, and transportation to/from resort.

Do I have to stay at this resort to attend the wedding?

Answer

We are asking all guests to stay at this resort. You can stay at a different resort however there is a hefty fee to attend the ceremony and reception with strict times. You would also miss out on other events! You will also have access to the resort next door called Secrets which is adults only.

What should I expect when my flight arrives in Cancun Mexico?

Answer

Once you get off the flight, you will head to customs/Immigration. Afterwards, you will claim your luggage (if checked bags) and leave the airport. When you are exiting the airport there are many people dressed as if they work at the airport which will try to sell you things or a ride. Do not engage, just keep on walking! Once outside the airport you will proceed to find your transportation van. There are many transportation vans all parked in one area, find the van with the company name Danielle has provided.

What are the suggested travel dates?

Answer

The room block is for Saturday November 30th - Tuesday December 3rd. However, if you wish to arrive earlier or depart later let Danielle know your preferred travel dates and she can work to accommodate. The bride and groom will be arriving Friday November 29th and departing Friday November 6th, but please travel at dates that best fit you!

Can I use my own travel agent?

We ask all guests to use our travel agent Danielle Fergus with Paradise Bliss. She is amazing and will keep track of all our guests travel information for us.

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The wedding will be outdoors so please dress comfortable according to the weather. Dressy casual beach attire; linen or airy slacks, short/long sleeved button down, dresses, sandals in a neutral/pastel color pallet. A neutral/pastel color pallet is light soft muted blues, greens, tans, greys, creams, pinks, yellows. Any color soft and muted.
