Since our wedding falls on a holiday weekend, we highly recommend booking your accommodations as soon as possible. “But Kaleigh and Matt… your wedding is so far away. Why book now?” Because rooms at the lodge and nearby houses get scooped up fast for New Year’s weekend—many are already limited! If you’d like to stay on-site at Mountain Top Resort, please book early so you don’t miss out. We’d truly love to have you close by for the full winter wedding experience! Please see the ‘Travel’ tab for more information on how to book a reservation.
To keep things cozy, we’re only able to include guests named on your invitation. Your RSVP will show your exact party size when invites go out in late summer/fall of 2026. We appreciate your understanding and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Respectfully… no ❤️ (Except for our nephew and ringbearer Jaxon. He runs this place.)
We kindly ask guests to dress in formal attire. Floor-length gowns or formal midi dresses are perfect for the ladies, and gentlemen may choose between a suit or tux with a tie or bow tie. We are encouraging winter colors and fabrics - think blues, greens, sparkles, furs, or velvets! Please use this link for outfit inspiration: https://www.pinterest.com/galekale9/matt-and-kays-future-wedding/guest-outfit-inspiration/ Please note the ceremony will be held outside! Please bring a winter coat and gloves in the event that the weather is very cold. There will be outdoor heaters and blankets available! The cocktail hour and reception will be held inside afterwards.
We’re so excited for a full wedding weekend! Friday, January 1st: Private rehearsal dinner, followed by a late night welcome party for everyone. Saturday, January 2nd: Ceremony in the late afternoon, followed by our cocktail hour and reception. Sunday, January 3rd: A cozy 'goodbye brunch' to thank everyone before traveling home.
It will be January in Vermont…. enough said
