Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both will be at the ranch. We will have a cocktail party first from 2-4, followed by the wedding ceremony, and then a sit down dinner around 5.

Are children allowed?

Answer

The ranch has ponds and hot springs that are not fenced off and not safe for kids of the two- or four-legged variety. We want our guests to be able to relax and enjoy themselves without having to worry about the safety of their minis. If you need help finding a sitter in the Desert Hot Springs area please let Shayna & Michael know.

There is not. Palm Springs is very close by and full of hotels and AirBnBs.

What should I wear?

Answer

Attire is semi-formal. Please make sure you pick sensible shoes and have something warm handy after the sun goes down. All wedding events will take place on a 107 acre ranch, in the desert, outdoors. Some areas are have landscaping or hard scape but at some point you will have to walk through sandy surfaces. Close toed shoes are highly recommended.

Is Shayna taking Michael’s last name?

Answer

Shayna and Michael are adding Paris’ middle name and Shayna is taking Michael’s last name. Shayna will be Shayna Mercedes West Spencer and Michael will be Michael Barton West Spencer. They will call their household “the West Spencer Bunch” and in doing so all the kids are represented.
