Glasgow

Glasgow is the place to go for an old industrial vibe with lots of shopping, bars, and restaurants. Public transportation is very accessible from Ayr train station or bus station to Glasgow. Only about an hour train ride with the best views of the Scottish countryside.

Edinburgh

Edinburgh is our stunning Capital. About 2 hour train journey from Ayr train station. Edinburgh is a MUST DO! History surrounds you everywhere you look. Castles, Dungeons, ghost tours, bars and restaurants. You could spend days walking the Royal Mile and Princess Street Gardens.

Loch Lomond

Loch Lomond is one of the many gems of Scotland. If you want those panoramic mount and loch views, this is your spot. This is where Ian proposed to me and a famous spot for tourists. If you go, check out The Drovers Inn for lunch a wee drink.

Golf

Scotland is the birth place of Golf and Ayrshire is one of best golf destinations in the world, with nearly 50 courses to choose from including 5 of the UK's top 100 courses and 3 Open Championship venues. If you contact ahead of time you may be able to organize club rental and tee times.
