What are the plans related to the COVID-19 pandemic?

Answer

We recently sent out an e-mail - please fill out our survey if you haven't already! https://forms.gle/SsSeAbYi9gU48Fng8 We plan on still continuing with the wedding at the original time & place. The ceremony will be outdoors, while the reception will be indoors (although the outdoor space is beautiful and available for use). We will be at less than 25% of the venue's indoor capacity, and we will ensure everyone is either vaccinated or tests negative to join us at the wedding. Feel free to let us know if there are any accommodations we can make for you (e.g., allowing your group to be at their own table, sitting outdoors, etc). We hope things can go as smoothly and safely as possible!

Why did you pick Frederick for your wedding?

Answer

While we both live in Chicago now, we both grew up in Montgomery County, Maryland right next door. Frederick is a beautiful, historic town, and we wanted you to experience its charms outside of just visiting DC!

Is there anyone you wish could join the wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately we couldn't think of a good way for our two chinchillas, Sandy and Ash, to attend, though we love them very much! They may sneak into the wedding somehow though - see if you can spot them! ;-)

Is there any significance to the wedding date (October 1)?

Answer

It will actually be 5 years from our very first date, on October 1 2016!! It's already our dating anniversary, so it will make the wedding anniversary that much more special.
