Guest do not generally give physical gifts and wedding couple does not create gift registries. Culturally speaking, the color red is often symbolizes energy, luck and good fortune. The significance of this gift is NOT the money inside, but the red papered envelopes. Thus, wrapping the gifts in red is expected to bestow more happiness and blessings on the receivers. As you know, weddings do not come cheap. The red envelope money will be directly contributing to the special events that you're all apart of. As with any other gifting occasion, please give only with what you're comfortable with. There will be a chance to gift these directly to us during the toasting event at the reception.
