Flight
We have included our flight information below! There are non-stop flights once a day from Chicago via United Airlines to Milan. The flight times are the same there and back everyday. We recommend downloading the Hopper app and adding in your desired travel times in order to find a flight at the lowest fare. Hopper can help you track flight fares and send you a notification for when to book your flight. If you are planning on extending your stay in Europe, we also recommend playing around with the departure and arrival cities in order to find the best deal. **Our Flights** Friday, May 15 ORD - MXP 9:25pm - 1:20pm. Train
A train from Milan to Stresa can be purchased online for around 10 euro per person. The train ride is approximately 1 hour and will drop off in the center of the town. Be sure to book a direct train to save time!
Rental Car
Another great option to get to Stresa is to rent a car from the Milan airport. The drive is approximately 45 minutes. You will need to obtain an international driver's license in order to rent a car (very easy). Rental Car
If you are interested, there are a number of private transfer options that will pick you up at the Milan airport and drive you to your hotel or Airbnb in Stresa. We have attached a link for one, but feel free to explore other options as well!
Travel Note
We will be arriving to Stresa on Monday, May 18th and leaving for our mini-moon on Tuesday, May 26th. If you plan on arriving any time prior to the Welcome Drink on Friday, May 22nd, we will be planning some events for those who are around and want to hangout! Just let us know so we can include you.
