FAQs

The Wedding Website of Cameron Barnewall and Robbie LaBounty
Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Doors will open to the venue at 4:15pm, with the ceremony starting at 4:30pm. Please try to arrive a few minutes early and tell yourself it starts at 4:15 if you need to!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP using this website by no later than 5/9/25 so we can turn in final numbers to our vendors. Anyone who has not RSVP’d by that date will be assumed “Not Attending.”

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Our food is fairly easy to maneuver with allergies, as it can all be customized and/or there will be several options to choose from (like for dessert). It will be a nut-free event. If there’s something (besides nuts) where you can’t be in the same room or are worried about cross-contamination, please let us know ASAP.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space and food, we kindly request that only those specified on the invite attend. If you have been given a plus one, please contact one of us so that we can get their information (although realistically, if we gave you one, it’s because we already know and approve of who you’re bringing).

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we respectfully ask that no children (under 10) attend the reception, except for those in the wedding party.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We have a few items on our Amazon registry, however, our place is not very big and we don’t have room for a lot of stuff. In lieu of additional items, we would greatly appreciate contributions to our honeymoon fund. Thank you so much!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a ton of parking at the Ocean Institute. You’ll basically just go until the road dead ends and park in that lot.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations or room blocks?

Answer

Robbie and Cam are likely staying at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott as it is the closest* hotel to the venue. If we can get 10 rooms, we can get a room block for a discounted rate. If you think that you would be interested in staying at that hotel, please let us know so we know if we have enough rooms. We also currently recommend the Best Western Marina Shores (the next closest* hotel and more cost-effective). We were going to get a room block, but I found it for cheaper on Priceline so that didn’t seem to make sense. * I say closest with an asterisk because the Dana Point Marina Inn is technically the closest but we didn’t feel comfortable recommending that one.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

It is a Cocktail Attire event. There will be beach access during cocktail hour and sand in the parking lot, so please keep that in mind when choosing footwear and dress length.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Assuming people are still trying to party after 10:45, we are tentatively planning on going to Stillwater or Hennessy’s afterwards (the only 2 bars open past 9pm in the area). Potential unofficial official Disneyland day TBD.
