This is extinct volcano where the magic will happen
An epic barcade, but with a Tesla coil music show on Tuesdays and Sundays! We've rented pinball machines monthly from here since the start of the pandemic.
Another epic barcade; lots of pinball and more.
The Rose Garden will be really nice this time of year.
You know, for kids. And adults, too; OMSI is a pretty great science museum.
Behold, one of the last video rental shops in existence! Full with its own, detailed classification system and museum of Hollywood movie costumes and props.
Our favorite Ethiopian food in town; so good. Only open for dinner, though.
If you're downtown and want some good Thai food this is the place.
Amazing Indian food with a lunch buffet. * *lunch buffet may not exist due to Covid-times
They know us here by "bean and cheese chimichanga and two veggie tacos." And there's an old-school Portland dive bar across the street, the Standard, where there is pinball.
They just don't make theaters like this anymore. Huge screen, balcony seating and you can even sip on beer while you watch.
Neither of us have actually been here yet, so if you're going please tell us and we will gladly tourist with you.
Great breakfast spot but go early or face a potentially long wait.
There are many of these nom-nom shrines to gluten around town but this one is ours. It is across the street from Genie's at the event horizon of weekend brunch lines. You are advised to go early to this or any brunch place.
Fuck Amazon, shop Powell's.
A Portland dive bar institution. The drinks are strong, food is decent, and minors can hang out with you in restaurant half. You'll have to go across the street to the Clinton Street Pub for pinball (but don't eat there).
As you will find out, you can't throw a rock without hitting a cannabis dispensary in Portland but this one is pretty great (cash only, grams not eighths, and sorry kids, 21+). Even if you don't smoke, a legal weed shop is a sight to see...and smell. When in Rome?
