If you some extra time and a car, South Lake Tahoe is worth exploring! There are casinos, Heavenly Gondola ride for epic view of Lake Tahoe, nice public beaches and hikes nearby.

A resort with lots of outdoorsy activities for all ages--watersport rentals, restaurants, public beach access to Lake Tahoe, etc.

You're in beautiful nature location, you have to go on a hike :)

Donner Lake Hikes

What locals do during the summer! This is a DIY float down the river activity best done with friends and plenty of beverages. Text us if you're interested and we can organize a group. Don't forget to sunscreen!

Float the Truckee River

Awesome overlook of the Donner Lake and even the drive to the site is filled with amazing views of the area. Great spot for pictures!
