Moab is a beautiful location! However, it is slightly more remote than New York City, or Chicago. Moab is in southern Utah, in the middle of the Colorado Plateau desert. Getting here is truly an adventure in itself! Here are helpful tips to make your adventure amazing!

Hotel

Red Cliffs Lodge Moab

14 Utah 128, Moab, UT 84532

This is the hotel where we will have our welcome party, ceremony, and reception. We wanted to choose a place where all of our guests could stay together. This link will take you to the booking for our room block. We have a pretty good idea of what type of room would be best for our guests, so please let us know if you have any questions!

Travel Note

Driving

Renting a car and driving in Moab is the best option to get around. Moab is a small town in the middle of the desert, and while staying in town is walkable, our venue is about 20 minutes outside of town. It is on Highway 128, rated one of the most scenic routes in the country. Many iconic films, commercials, music videos, and desktop screen savers are shot along this road. Traveling in a car allows you to take in the beauty at your own pace. Please let us know if you are interested in carpooling or sharing a rental with other guests. We are happy to coordinate!

Flight

Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC)

SLC is about a four-hour drive from Moab. The road is very scenic, and a pleasant journey. Cell phone service may be limited in some areas, but you should not have much trouble, as there are small towns with services along the winding desert road.

Flight

Denver International Airport (DEN)

DEN is about a six-hour drive from Moab. The road is mountainous, going through the breathtaking Rocky Mountains, down through the rustic canyons of southwest Colorado, and finally gracing you with the red rocks of Moab. You will experience the Rocky Mountain high, reaching an elevation of 11,158 feet along this road, so be prepared for the journey ahead. The views are spectacular!

Flight

Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT)

GJT is about a two-hour drive from Moab. The road follows along I-70 W, sharing the road with the route from DEN. However, with GJT being closer to Moab, this may be a good option to save some time. Keep in mind that this is a smaller, regional airport, and prices may be slightly higher than if you were to fly into DEN or SLC.

Flight

Canyonlands Field Airport (CNY)

CNY is a very small airport in Moab. As far as proximity to the wedding venue, you literally can't get much closer than this. However, prices will be high to fly into this airport, and there may be a few layovers along the way. This airport shares a runway with a local skydiving company if you are interested.
