Hyatt Dreams Karibaña Cartagena Golf & Spa Resort

This is the hotel that we recommend everyone stay at as it is also the site of the wedding venue. We have a room block in place. It is completely all inclusive with the exception of Golf and Spa. It is a short 15 minute ride to the walled city or airport. There is a shuttle that leaves to the walled city with pickup daily.

Flight

Jet Blue/Avianca

In NY, you must fly out of JFK if you want nonstop. There are two airlines that go direct nonstop (about 4-5hrs) to Cartagena which are Jet Blue and Avianca. Jet Blue leaves at different times year round earyl/late morning and Avianca has red eye flights year round. Please be advised Avianca will get you there by breakfast time to enjoy the entire day. This is important as the Jet Blue flight same day (Thursday) arrives in the afternoon and combined with immigration clearing (1-3hrs) will likely NOT get you there in time for the welcome party. We recommend taking the red eye or traveling the day before. Colombia does not observe daylight savings so arrival will be same as NY or Eastern Standard Time this time of year.
