You do not need to purchase adapters for this trip as they use the same standard plugs available here in the US.
Almost all of our guests will be staying at the hotel. If you want to enjoy the fun and have easy access to everyone, we highly recommend staying here. This also makes it convenient as the wedding is also on site.

The wedding will take place during the most optimal time of year which is "dry season". The weather averages 86-88 degrees during the day with full sun, dry air and cool breezes. At night the average is about 75-77 degrees. Water temperature at most beaches average 80-84 degrees, making it very comfortable for swimming and a beach day.
This is an all inclusive resort meaning all meals and drinks are complimentary with your stay with the exception of Golf and Spa appointments. Golf MUST be booked as a reservation and can be done in groups of 4 for a discount a the hotel counter.
Both are available, both are safe options. However for language purposes and ease of travel, Uber may be the best for you to get around town. Average prices around town for 1-2 people are 10,000-20,000 pesos (about $2.50 - $4 US dollars per ride)
Yes, most places will accept American credit cards but still some require pesos only. It is advised that you exchange pesos prior to going into town after you arrive. Best place would be as soon as you walk into the walled city on the corner shop.
We highly recommend you bring water shoes if you are attending the private island day resort. The ocean is initially very rocky to walk into before it smooths out.
