Blue Coyote Ranch in Salida, Colorado. Ceremony and reception are on the same grounds. 6720 County Road 104 Salida, CO 81201 (719) 539-2002
If coming from out of state, the two airports we recommend looking into are Denver International Airport and Colorado Springs Airport. From each airport you will need to rent a car to get to Salida, Colorado. From Denver International, the drive is about three hours, and from Colorado Springs Airport, the drive is about two hours. Check out the website "Turo," for car rentals made super easy! With this site, the car will be ready for you when you land without having to wait at a rental counter, and is usually walking distance or a short shuttle ride away from the airport.
We want you to be comfortable! Colorado weddings are usually a mixture of lots of different styles and that's what we like about them! Formal, semi-formal, a little bit of western, bring whatever style makes you feel like dancing! We recommend comfortable shoes for walking around a ranch, and something warm for when the sun goes down.
Please refer to the names on your invitation! Children are wonderful, but parents deserve a break every so often! Thus, the reception is adults only unless otherwise stated by the couple. We hope you understand!
The wedding ceremony begins at 4:00 PM at Blue Coyote Ranch. Shuttles will take off from each hotel we have blocked, as well as the Salida Scout Hut in downtown Salida. SHUTTLE SCHEDULE: 3:20 PM from Salida Scout Hut and the Woodland Motel 3:40 PM from The Hampton Inn and The Woodland Motel Last drop off will be 3:50 PM at the venue. Shuttles will include complimentary beer, seltzer, and water. See the travel page for more information about our accommodations.
If it's anything like a typical Colorado summer, we could experience all four seasons in one day! Average temperatures in Salida in June are a high of 78 degrees and a low of 48 degrees. Typically, June is bluebird sky sunny (with the occasional light afternoon rain shower), and a cooler evening once the sun goes down.
The incredible mobile bar service, Luna Libations, will be serving up bevvy's all night! There will be two signature cocktails, a selection of wines and beers, an assortment of non-alcoholic seltzers and sodas, as well as some late-night coffee.
We LOVE photos! We have an amazing photographer who will be taking photos during the ceremony, and we request during this time that she is the only one snapping away. After that, it's a free for all on the photo game!
Shuttles will run every thirty minutes from 9:00 PM to 10:30 PM with drop-offs at the Woodland, Hampton, and Salida Scout Hut.
Yes! The venue fits about 20 cars, so if you are planning to drive, please put your friends in the back seat for the best carpooling Blue Coyote has ever seen! Parking will be first come, first serve.
