Risa is from Japan. She was born in Ishikawa, and grew up in Kyoto and Shiga. She moved to NY for work in 2010, but she had to go back to Japan in 2013 due to her visa expiration. When she went back to Japan, she landed her dream job in Biwako Hall, which is the biggest Opera theatre in the south of Japan. She worked there in public relations and marketing. After that, She came back to NYC in 2015, and SHE MET HER AWESOME HUSBAND, COLIN!! Love NY, Broadway Musicals, Tap Dance, and Cats!!!

Groom
Colin grew up in Connecticut, Texas and Raleigh, and came to NYC for work in 2012. A couple of years later, he met Risa and knew she was the sweetest woman in the world. Having lived near the coast in Wilmington for many years, he is a beach bum if there ever was one, a cyclist who prefers city riding to trails, a live music addict, craft beer enthusiast and possibly the best skier you know.

Heidi is Ramsey's sister and a good friend of Colin's as well.

Mike is one of Colin's closest friends of 23 years and owe's Colin a Spurs hat with a wind mill til this day.

Naomi is married to Brad, one of Colin's closest and first friends in Raleigh.

Colin and Brad lived in adjacent neighborhoods when Colin first moved to Raleigh. The two worked together bagging groceries in high school and have been good friends ever since.

Darrena has been dating Ramsey, one of Colin's closest friends and groomsman for several years.

Colin met Ramsey when he moved to Raleigh in 1994 and they were in the same circle of friends throughout middle and high school. They have remained close friends since.
