If you're looking for a good lunch spot, definitely check out Grand Traverse Pie Co. Plus, when in Traverse City...you have to have some cherry pie.
The Little Fleet
We love The Little Fleet! It's a great bar in downtown Traverse City. Order a cocktail and then go outside to one of their many food trucks to grab a bite to eat!
Kayak, Bike & Brew
Traverse City is so fun in the summer and going on a bike & kayak tour is a great way to see it all!
The Workshop Brewing Company
As you can see by the photo, AJ used to work here when we lived in TC! Great beer, and right by Hexenbelle & Mammoth.
Mammoth Distilling
Once you try the cocktails at our wedding, you're going to want to head to Mammoth for seconds! Such a great local distillery with fantastic drinks.
The Cooks’ House
This is one of our favorite restaurants in Traverse City. Right across from The Little Fleet, this fine dining restaurant is definitely worth trying to get a reservation (but make sure you do so in advance)!

The coolest clothing and home store in TC by far!
7 Monks Taproom
7 Monk's has great bar food and beer on tap. And check out Low Bar downstairs for cocktails!
The Village at Grand Traverse Commons
Grand Traverse Commons was once The State Hospital, an asylum built in the 1800s. Today, the beautiful sprawling buildings hold restaurants, shops, coffee shops, wineries, and breweries. It's a fascinating place to spend the afternoon exploring.

Brys Estate Vineyard & Winery
There is no shortage of wineries on the Grand Traverse Peninsula, and Brys is one of our favorites! We recommend getting a spot on the patio and having some frosé.

Glendale Burger Shop
If you need a day after the wedding burger we highly recommend Glendale!
Farm Club
Farm Club is owned by the same people as The Little Fleet, and is a little bit out of Traverse City. It's a restaurant and brewery, with a great outdoor area and marketplace. Highly recommend taking the trip out there!
Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore
If you have time to head out to the Sleeping Bear Dunes, you won't be disappointed! There are tons of hikes along the lakeshore and it is so beautiful.
Art's Tavern
If you head out to the Sleeping Bear Dunes, we highly recommend spending some time in Glen Arbor (where we used to live!) and getting a bite to eat at Art's! It's the best hole in the wall spot. Pro tip: they only take cash!
Mawby Winery
If you want to explore some wineries out on the Leelanau peninsula, make sure you stop at Mawby! They produce all sparkling wines and have a beautiful winery.
