We're getting married!

We met at work at the NoMad restaurant in downtown LA. AJ asked Riley out, and she pretty much ignored him. After spending months working together, and AJ bringing Riley chocolate ice cream every night as she was doing her closing report...she started to warm up to him. One night at a bar after work, AJ said to Riley "Riley, can we just have cute freckled babies together?" Once Riley knew AJ wanted kids...and he was pretty cute with his freckles, she was sold. That night at 3 am, sitting on the floor in the kitchen of our friend's house, we had our first kiss. A week later AJ asked Riley to be his girlfriend, and a week after that we said I love you! About a month into us dating, AJ came to visit Riley back home in Michigan and met her whole family. It sounds crazy because it was! But thankfully moving fast worked out for us. We moved in together in 2019, and in 2020 we got our dog, Nutmeg, and decided to move in with Riley's parents in Traverse City. We had so much fun living in TC for 2 years, but in 2022 made the move back to LA. In October 2022, Riley and AJ proposed to each other sitting on the floor of their apartment at 3 am...very similar circumstances to that very first kiss. In our almost 6 years together, we've moved across the country together several times, had a bunch of different jobs and apartments, traveled to many amazing places, and fallen more in love than we ever thought possible. We are so excited to celebrate our love with you in a place so near and dear to us!
