Our dress code is colorful cocktail attire. Please feel free to wear bright colors and patterns & dress to impress! The more over the top the better! Our wedding will be outdoors in grass and near the beach, so please keep that in mind for comfort. And don't worry about wearing some white...the bride will be in pink! Traverse City is a pretty small town and it's easy to get around! All the hotels we recommend are within walking distance of our venue and downtown. If you do want to stay at an airbnb or a little further out of town, we recommend having a car or a cab company's number on hand, as ubers can be far and few between! Traverse City Taxi (231-944-8325) is a great option.
Traverse City in the summer is so fun because the sun doesn't set till about 9:30pm! In July, the high is typically in the 80s, and gets down to the 60s at night. Because it's usually humid, nights can still feel very warm after the sun sets. It is Michigan though, so it could be rainy or cold at a moments notice! It's always good to be prepared for inclement weather.
