Man of Honor
Chase is Emily's older brother. He's been there since day one. Despite being Em's older brother, Chase appeased Em by allowing her to dress him up in her swim suits, building forts, and was always there to talk about boys. Chase gets a portion of the credit for Jon and Em being together when he commandeered Em's phone and texted Jon to set up their second date. Thanks Chase for always being there with a listening ear, tools to fix things, and overall good time!
Best Woman
Lauren is Jon's younger sister. She has been Jon's best friend since she was born (despite taking attention away from him). From goofing around in church, seeing who could hold a note the longest, to taking multiple fun trips. If you have ever have hung around Jon and Lauren you will hear plenty of laughter, competition and shit talking....They are a force to be reckoned with but always a good time no matter what Mark says. Jon is so thankful for Lauren and the massive role she has played in his life.
Matron of Honor
Laura and Emily have been friends since she moved to the big city...Clear Lake, Wisconsin. Laura taught Em how to be a farm girl, joining 4-H and showing animals. To translate, Em raised multiple pigs, enough said. They played every sport together in high school dominating the western part of Wisconsin in Volleyball, Softball and being babes. They went on to go to college together and eventually made the big move from western Wisconsin to Stillwater a whole 40 minutes away, welcome to the cities! They joke about buying houses next to each other and raising kids to be best friends, willing or not.
Groomsman
Brian is Jon's cousin. Brian and Jon grew up together making up games in each others basements, legos, 1v1 sports of any kind. Somehow Jon always got the blame for getting Brian in trouble...like the infamous backyard pond mud fight. It also must be said that Brian lost in the fantasy football championship 2 years in a row by less than 3 points total. Brian has always been there with Jon always having a blast no matter what they are doing.
Bridesmaid
Dana and Emily met traveling the world together. Their love of wanderlust, karaoke, and instagram content made them lifelong friends. Em and Dana are their own worst enemies, wanting to stay fit but loving pizza, wings, cookies, and so on. They are always excited and open for a new adventure, no matter where that takes them. They can tell you many stories of when that worked out amazing; and plenty when it did not. Dana was one of the first supporters of Em and Jon getting married, although she was a little ahead of her time as she was telling Em to marry Jon while they were in Hawaii a month after Jon and Em met. No doubt Em and Dana will continue to adventure and hopefully they will include Jon in those adventures!
Groomsman
Mark is Jon's brother in law. Jon met Mark for the first time while visiting his sister at Michigan State. Jon proceeded to beat his friends at beer pong and as you can imagine Jon was very humble....Jon knew he was a good guy because he made sure Jon didn't get beat up... Mark and Jon have gone on many brotherly adventures together, from Mark's bachelor party to climbing large gates to walk on closed bridges in Brooklyn at an early morning hour. Jon is glad to have Mark in our family and lucky to call him his brother.
Bridesmaid
Ami is Emily's sister in law. They first met at one of Chase and Ami's many college house party's where Emily had her first or possibly tenth beer and bonded over a box of cereal without milk. Chase and Ami continue to be Em's guardian angels and Ami is the sister she never had.
Groomsman
Dan and Jon met in college. They have probably played/created more random games and competitions than most people play in a lifetime. "No Hands Mario Kart", caps, wheel of destiny, wallyball, woo, to name a few. Newman and Jon have spent many weekends up north in Lutsen and no matter what the situation they will be having fun. Newman might be the only person more competitive than Jon. Newman has been a great friend and always good for a deep discussion or joke!
Bridesmaid
Aldijana and Emily met at their first recruiting jobs. Long boolean searches and tears over candidates not taking the job bonded them; as well as many sushi and wine Wednesdays.
Flower Girl
Nate had the honor of going to Gustavus at the same time as Jon. They didn't become friends until after college when their paths crossed again working on the same team at Target. Jon decided this time they could be friends. Nate and Jon soon became close friends and bonded over their ability to lay down the thickest of sarcasm to any innocent bystanders (sorry Dylan...) They have traveled to multiple locations around the world including Cuba, New Orleans, and Mexico. If Jon is laughing while texting it is usually because Nate and Jon are bantering back and forth.
Groomsman
Wobby and Jon were randomly assigned roommates freshman year of college. They proceeded to be roommates for the next 4 years. Wobby and Jon originally bonded over their love of sports and video games. In the history of their friendship Wobby is still the only one to have permanently quit playing a game. Wobby and Jon relive their glory days at least once a year up at Clint's cabin for guys weekend. Wobby is always good for a quote to live your life by. Wobby always said "If you show me a good loser, I will show you a loser". Wobby has always been side by side with Jon willing to take on anything whether that be a beer di challenger or a bigger life challenges.
Groomsman
Clint and Jon became friends freshman year of college. He joined Wobby and Jon in all of the random games. One such game was who wants to be a millionaire internet game. Wobby and Jon figured out a way to pause the game to allow them to look up the answer and win the million. Clint proceeded to stay up all night and finally actually succeeded in it at like 5 am. As you can imagine Clint was not too happy. Clint has been nice enough to host guys weekend every year since college where we relive our glory days, there is still debate who has rolled more 7's...
