It all started with a swipe to the right and a glass of wine at Aster cafe. Jon didn't think Em was interested, when in fact she was completely smitten. Em spent the next month in Hawaii, they exchanged thousands of texts, phone calls, and FaceTime sessions over that time which won him over. A year later Jon proposed on the top of Carlton Peak in Lutsen surrounded by their parents and a well-placed drone (thank you Nate!)

Our love of travel, sunshine, and having all of our friends and family in one beautiful destination, led us to Rancho Sanata, in Nicaragua. If you need help planning your next vacation or destination wedding Jon has probably looked at every boutique resort in Central America. The itinerary is centered around quality time and sunshine. There are three scheduled events padded with plenty of playtime and some R&R if you so choose (And plenty of surfing and games/competition as well) We are so excited to have you celebrate the Astry Rickson Union with us!
