Question

WHERE SHOULD I STAY?

Answer

We recommend you stay in Boulder - there's a lot more to do there! We will be providing transportation from Embassy Suites Hilton Boulder to / from Lionscrest Manor for your convenience. We highly recommend making reservations early as it will be a very busy wedding weekend in Boulder. There are also other hotels and AirBnb/ VRBO's available in Boulder as well.

Question

WILL THERE BE A SHUTTLE PROVIDED FROM BOULDER TO LYONS?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing a hotel shuttle from the Embassy Suites Hilton Boulder to Lionscrest Manor and back. Please arrive at the posted times on the transportation page for the shuttle.

Question

WHAT IS THE DRESSCODE?

Answer

Semi formal attire, you may want to bring a light jacket for night. Please avoid green floral print dresses. Calling all ladies! Do not wear stiletto heels. I repeat, do not wear stiletto heels. There are a bunch of grassy/dirt areas that you might have to walk in so wear chunky heels or sandals. Can't have any of you ruining nice shoes or breaking any ankles.

Question

ARE RIDE SHARE SERVICES AVAILABLE IN LYONS?

Answer

Yes but they must be called 30-45 minutes in advanced.

Question

CAN I LEAVE MY CAR AT THE VENUE OVERNIGHT AND PICK IT UP IN THE MORNING?

Answer

Guests are allowed to park at the wedding venue and leave cars over night until noon the next day.

Question

ARE KIDS INVITED TO THE WEDDING?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception.

Question

CAN I BRING A DATE?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

I HAVE A FOOD ALLERGY, CAN I MAKE A SPECIAL REQUEST?

Answer

Yes! We will absolutely be able to accommodate food allergies. Please submit any food allergies in your RSVP and we will coordinate with our chef.

Question

WHAT IS THE ALTITUDE IN BOULDER AND HOW WILL IT AFFECT ME?

Answer

Boulder is a mile high (5,300 ft) in elevation. We recommend arriving 2-3 days before the wedding to adjust to the altitude. Make sure to stay hydrated as possible while you are visiting Colorado (Liquid IV or electrolytes). Drinks can hit you harder and it's much easier to get dehydrated. You may also feel more out of breath with physical exertion like walking up steps or hiking. We want you to feel your absolute best all weekend so please remember to drink water throughout the day!

Question

IS THE VENUE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony is outdoors, but our reception will be indoors.

Question

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I KNOW THAT I CAN NOT ATTEND?

Answer

Please let us know as soon as possible so that we can plan accordingly.

Question

Are all the events mandatory?

Answer

No we understand that with travel not everybody can attend all events. Please let us know in your RSVP which ones you plan on attending.
