Paper maps will be printed and available at the welcome tent at the entrance to the camp (outside the Camp Office). However, if you would like a digital copy on your phone, please copy and paste this link into your web browser. This will open a Google Drive folder where you can open and save the image of the Puh'tok Map to your device: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1QADZ2GdiFnZnp-46NI31QAPd_tGnit2v?usp=sharing
We will be providing a shuttle service to and from certain hotels! The shuttling service will be provided through either a Sprinter van or SUV depending on your location. Shuttle services will be provided to the campsite from either the Holiday Inn Express in Hunt Valley or the Delta by Marriott hotel in Hunt Valley. There will be a round of shuttles that escort guests to the venue site, arriving at the hotels between 3:30 and 3:45pm which will travel to the campsite for the ceremony. Then, later on, there will be a round of shuttles that can escort guests back to their hotels during the reception at 10pm. For any questions regarding the shuttle service, please contact Joe Davis at (555) 555-0123.
Somewhat! There are some cabins that are ADA accessible for those guests staying on-site. Namely #11 in the Pioneer Village as well as the lower levels of the Alaskan Village cabins and Fort Mackinack. Showers on the bottom floor of Fort Mackinack and the Alaskan Cabins are also ADA accessible. There will be golf carts on-site on the day of the wedding festivities for any guests who may need help getting around, since it is a large venue.
Yes! This venue is a campground and has sleeping quarters available at no cost! They are completely free to any guests who want to stay on-site! We strongly encourage guests to take advantage of the beds in the cabins available on-site – especially if you do not feel safe to drive. Beds will be available for all guests in the following locations: Pioneer Cabins, Alaskan Village, Fort Mackinac, and Native American Village. All beds in these facilities are twin beds, often in either bunk bed or loft styles. The Pioneer Cabins sleep 16 people to each cabin. The Alaskan Village cabins sleep 18 people to each cabin. Fort Mackinac sleeps 42 people in a two-story, open-floor building. Bed assignments will be determined on a first come, first serve basis. The current cabin assignments will be listed on the "Cabin Assignments" tab of the website. If you would like to request any changes to the current arrangements, please let us know. Additionally, if you decide to stay OFF-SITE, please let us know so we may update our listings! **Please be aware that these buildings are designed for large groups of campers, so you will be sharing a space with other guests. We ask that all guests be respectful of others while staying on-site.**
Nope! The cabins available at Camp Puh'tok are completely optional. However, the on-site accommodations are free of charge to all guests. If you would prefer to sleep off-site in a hotel or other location, you are more than welcome to do so. A list of local hotels that we recommend can be found in the "Hotels + Travel" tab of the website (see top of the page). Please keep in mind that the venue is approximately 15 minutes away from Hunt Valley, MD -- where all of the recommended hotels are located.
Please check out the "Cabin Assignments" tab in the ribbon at the top of the page. All guests are welcome to stay on-site for free! Beds in the cabins will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis and will be grouped by family wherever possible. If you have a specific bunking preference, please let us know ahead of time so we can try to accommodate your requests.
The primary cabin locations (Fort Mackinack, Alaskan Village, and Pioneer Cabins) are ALL equipped with showers, toilets, power outlets, and climate control. The sleeping quarters in the Native American Village are all considered rustic and do NOT come equipped with any showers, toilets, heat, a/c, or electrical power. There is no public wi-fi available at the campground. Again, please keep in mind that these cabins are intended for large groups, so please be respectful of your bunkmates.
No. If you are planning to stay at the campground, please be prepared to bring your own bed linens and towels. All beds are twin-sized, either in bunk or loft styles.
