I met Takoda for the first time at a traffic light, and little did I know that would lead to one of the best friendships I’ve had. I gained Lauren's friendship by offering her some snacks in one of our nursing classes, but what I’ve gained since then is so much more. Whether she's crafting something amazing or simply being a constant source of support, she’s the kind of friend everyone wishes they had. Gary was my the first friend I made when I started traveling to Richmond, and he’s been a constant source of kindness ever since. Gentle, sweet, and always positive, he never says a bad word about anyone. Whether we're tending to our virtual farm on Stardew Valley or sharing home-cooked meals, our time together is always full of laughter and good vibes. He’s also a ridiculously talented singer and producer, but what stands out the most is his incredible heart.
