Tim sent Rhee a cute and witty message on the dating app, Hinge. He managed to include Jurassic Park in his original message to her calling Rhee a "Clever Girl". This is when she knew that she would be head over heels for him. Then on their first date in Charlottesville, they stopped into a wine bar together. Rhee started to do her impression of a wine aficionado and that she could taste the "essence of grapes" in each glass they tried. Tim joined right in and did his best wine snob impression. This is when he knew that he'd met his goofball. They've never stopped laughing together since then.

Tim went above and beyond to plan and execute a truly perfect proposal for Rhee. He along with the help of one of his groomsmen, Hank, set up a cozy and dinosaur centric space in the living room of Tim & Rhee's home all while Rhee was away at the gym. When Rhee got home there was a sign on the front door warning her that she was entering the "T-Rex Paddock" and upon opening the door she was greeted by Jurassic Park playing on the TV, Sprout (their dog) greeting her in a triceratops costume, and Tim dancing towards her in an inflatable T-Rex costume. She thought that they were about to have a fun movie night and was excitedly dancing about it up until Tim got down on one knee. That's when the realization hit and Rhee started crying, happy tears of course. Then she said YES!
