BREC's Baton Rouge Zoo

Dylan took Rexanna to the zoo for one of their first dates. She mentioned that she had not been to the zoo in years so he surprised her with a date there. Their favorite animals were the Giraffe, Zebra, Warthog, and all of the big cats!

Mike the Tiger's Habitat

Mike the Tiger is a Baton Rouge/LSU icon! He is the LSU mascot and has a mansion of a habitat. The LSU campus is beautiful and since this will be a game day weekend, I'm sure campus will be thriving - Geaux Tigers!

Louisiana State University Rural Life Museum

Step back in time to pre-industrial Louisiana at this 27-building museum complex, one of the best outdoor museums in the U.S., featuring tools, furniture and other artifacts and, the highlight, a recreated 19th-century plantation that portrays the daily lives of these early settlers.

Mall of Louisiana

You can probably imagine that Rexanna loves to shop - what you might not know is that Dylan does too. There are tons of stores at the Mall of Louisiana so if you forgot a part of your wardrobe, have no fear!

L’Auberge Casino & Hotel Baton Rouge

The L’Auberge is a casino near LSU campus. Rexanna and Dylan love a good game of Blackjack and every now and then find themselves up a few dollars!

Three Roll Estate

TRE offers tours and rum tastings. Dylan loves rum so in honor of the groom, check this place out!

Louisiana Art & Science Museum

The art galleries showcase changing fine art exhibitions and selections from the permanent collection. In the interactive art and science galleries designed just for children, creative and enlightening fun comes in many forms.
