Each event has a dress code listed in the description. The Shabbat dinner and Cocktail party are cocktail attire, the wedding is garden party formal. This article is a great dress code resource: https://www.greenvelope.com/blog/common-uncommon-wedding-dress-codes-explained It will be a little colder than we expected, so we recommend bringing layers and wearing something a little warmer than you might have planned on in June - a heavier suit, a cardigan with your dress, etc.
So far, it's looking like it will be in the mid-60's! Quite a bit colder than we expected. Remember to bring layers and a rain jacket.
Our wedding is RSVP only, so we can only accommodate those listed on your invitation.

We have reserved a room block at the Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront. For those who wish to be within close walking distance of our venues for Friday and Saturday, we recommend looking up Airbnb's near the Ladd's Addition neighborhood of Southeast Portland, or booking a room at either the Jupiter Hotel Portland or the Hotel Grand Stark -- these are the two closest hotels to our Friday and Saturday events. If you will only be attending our wedding day on Sunday, we recommend you stay in Hood River or elsewhere in the Columbia River Gorge.
Please RSVP by May 20th. You can RSVP by mail or on our website.
Many of our loved ones are vegan, vegetarian, have nut allergies, are gluten free, and of course, kosher! We are ensuring that there are options for everyone, but all the food will be prepared in the same kitchen. We will provide a limited number of Glatt Kosher meals for those who keep Kosher with a capital K (if you're the kind of Jew who eats vegetarian out of the house or is happy to eat a nonkosher burger because beef is not pork, kindly accept the delicious vegetarian options provided with our deepest apologies). If you have severe allergies or restrictions, please reach out ahead of time and we'll make sure you're taken care of.
Please arrive no earlier than 3pm. There will be a cocktail hour starting at 3pm, and the ceremony will begin at 4pm.
Yes, there is a parking lot onsite. We will also be providing a shuttle to and from Portland. If you need to leave your car overnight and take the shuttle home to avoid drinking and driving, it needs to be picked up by Monday morning at 8am or it will be towed.
Feel free to send us an email at caitandnatewedding@gmail.com and we'll answer any questions you have.
Our venue is in Hood River, a small town 1 hour east of Portland. They do not have Uber or Lyft. However, you MAY be able to find an Uber or Lyft to take you one-way from Portland to Hood River but NOT in the other direction. It's about $120 for a 3 passenger ride and $180 for an UberXL. If for some reason you are unable to rent a car or take the shuttle we are providing on the day of our wedding to get out to Hood River, this is certainly better than not showing up! But you may have trouble getting back to Portland this way, and we would recommend trying to find a ride back with another guest.
