Act One: Caitlin Follows Nathan to Europe We started like most couples in this modern age did: by matching on a dating app. Six weeks after meeting, Caitlin got on a plane from San Diego to Europe with Nathan and they travelled together for four months. Act Two: Nathan Follows Caitlin to Portland After four months of traveling, Nathan thought it was only fair that he follow Caitlin to a new place. It all worked out, because it turns out we love each other as much as we love living here. It helps that we enjoy the rain, which might seem strange for a couple of kids from San Diego. We love the coffee, the big trees and parks, the music scene, and neighbors that grow their own food and raise chickens in their front yards. We love biking and walking to all our favorite spots around town, being so close to rivers, the sea, and the mountains, and the general sense that we can make the world a better place, starting here. We can't wait to share all these things we love about Portland with you. Act Three: You Follow Us To Hood River To celebrate spending the rest of our lives together, we want to do it surrounded by the people that matter most to us. Some of you have known us since we were born, and others were kind enough to show us hospitality in the days when we used to sleep on couches and take 8 hour bus rides while we traveled across Europe. We won’t get to see you all in the same place together ever again. We hope you can make this day unforgettable and join us.
