Wedding Rehearsal

Casual Attire
We'll contact everyone necessary for the rehearsal itself, but all are welcome to come in for the rehearsal dinner. After doing a run-through of the ceremony at our house, we'll cook up a Puget Sound fish-fry/BBQ and play some backyard games. We can end the night with a stroll down the street to Hale's Barrelhouse.
Rehearsal Dinner

We'll shoot to have a batch of food ready around 5 or 5:30. Since it's a fishfry/BBQ, we'll keep the fryer warm for guests flying in later Friday. If we walk down to Hale's, it probably won't be until 8 or 9. Julie and Jacob will likely turn in early, but everyone else is free to hang around the backyard or go explore some downtown Bremerton dives or Seattle nightlife.

The Day of the Wedding

Since the venue is our house, we aren't really limited on time. The theme is 'Upscale Backyard BBQ', so be sure and dress correctly ;) If you would like to show up before the 5:30pm ceremony, all are welcome but you may have to entertain yourself with cornhole, bocce ball, beach strolls (bring poopy shoes for this), fishing (on your own for a license if you want to be legal), keg operation, etc. while we finish with last touches and get dressed. The band, (https://www.nuagesjazz.net/) a great little gypsy jazz quintet, will play from 6:30-10:30 pm, saving their danciest repertoire for last. After that, we will have to keep music and hollering at a lower volume for the sake of neighbors. Parking is very limited onsite (10 cars max), so Uber/Lyft if possible. There is street parking on Lafayette, but be extra mindful of not parking on neighbors' private property. The less obviously private parking is generally signed. As a rule, avoid pulling off of the regular asphalted street surface.

Oak Table is handsdown the best breakfast in the area. They don't do reservations, so we will have to send a point man/woman ahead to get us on the list. As we track how big our brunch group is going to be, we may alter plans as Oak Table is quite popular and can have overly long waits for big groups. After brunch, we're hoping as many as are able/willing will join us for a jaunt to Viking Fest in Poulsbo. Entry is free, and there should be live music, food trucks, art vendors, and a carnival. The Sluy's Bakery giant Donut eating contest is at 1pm for anyone else happy to be jumping off their diet.
